Two-time Juno nominee, Canada's Got Talent, dry Newfoundland deadpan
About the show
Matt Wright is a Newfoundland comic and a two-time Juno nominee for Comedy Album of the Year, for Existing Is Exhausting and Here Live, Not a Cat. His special Live at the Majestic is on Prime and YouTube, he competed on Canada's Got Talent in 2025, and he is currently out on the Peekaboo Tour, which is why he is here.
The album titles tell you the tone: dry, tired, very Newfoundland, a man who has thought about all of this a lot and would rather not have. One show, a Thursday, 8:00.
